
I came across a fascinating article via twitter today and I have to share it with you.
Pricing Lessons From Restaurants from NeuroScienceMarketing.com looked at a study by Sybil S. Yang, Sheryl E. Kimes Ph.D., and Mauro M. Sessarego of Cornell University,
"$ or Dollars: Effects of Menu-price Formats on Restaurant Checks"
I was really amazed at the results and to see such a simple thing (showing currency symbols or not) having such an effect on customers behaviour.
Read the article- if you take it on board, making a few minor changes to your sales pages could result in major increase in profits!
